“On May 17 and during the night of May 18, 2026, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck a number of important facilities of the russian occupiers. In particular, a Project ‘Grachonok’ anti-sabotage boat was hit in the area of Kaspiysk (Republic of Dagestan, russia). Boats of this type are used to protect naval bases and combat sabotage forces”, - the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on social media on May 18.
An enemy UAV control point in the area of Karnatne, Bryansk oblast, russia, was also struck.
“It has also been confirmed that on May 16, 2026, as a result of a strike on the ‘Yeysk’ airfield in Krasnodar Krai, russia, a Ka-27 helicopter and a Be-200 naval aviation patrol aircraft were destroyed”, - the statement also says.
