“Rescuers recovered the bodies of two more people from under the rubble of the building in the Darnytskyi district. Thus, the death toll from the russian strike has risen to 5 people. In addition, there is currently information about at least 20 missing persons. Search and rescue operations are ongoing. Information is being updated”, - the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on May 14.
Rescuers noted that psychologists and canine units of the State Emergency Service are working at the scene. Heavy engineering equipment has been deployed to clear the rubble. In total, 39 people were injured in Kyiv as a result of the russian shelling, including 1 child. Another 28 people were rescued.
