“The special military operation in Ukraine may stop when Volodymyr Zelensky makes the appropriate decisions”, - putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov told journalists.
“The humanitarian truce has ended, the special military operation continues. It can stop at any moment as soon as the Kyiv regime, Volodymyr Zelensky, takes responsibility and makes the necessary decision. What decisions need to be made is well known in Kyiv”, - he said.
Earlier, the russian side named the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Donbas as a mandatory condition for a so-called “long-term and sustainable peace”.
Also, Peskov reminded that putin could meet with Zelensky in a third country not for negotiations, but specifically to finalize such peace agreements.
