Over the past day, russians shelled populated areas in the Donetsk oblast 6 times. Vadym Filashkin, the head of the Donetsk Oblast State Administration, reported this on May 8th.
"No information about casualties or fatalities was received during the day", - Filashkin noted.
In the Pokrovsk district, in the Marinka community, Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka, Yekaterynivka, and Paraskovievka were shelled. The outskirts of the Ocheretyne and Kurakhove communities came under fire.
In the Lyman community, Torske, Terny, Yampolivka, and Zarichne were shelled, and a forest fire broke out covering an area of 470 hectares - firefighters managed to extinguish it. In the Kostiantynivka community, Stupochky, Predtechyne, Krasne, and Mykolaivka were shelled without causing destruction.
In the Chasiv Yar community, 4 private houses were damaged. In Sviato-Pokrovsk, part of the Siversk community, one house was damaged.
