In the Donetsk oblast, 6 miners were injured as a result of russian shelling on May 16. The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.

"This morning, the enemy struck the territory of one of the state-owned coal mining enterprises in the Donetsk oblast. 6 miners were injured. Also, the administrative and household complex of the enterprise was damaged by shelling!" - the message says.

"All the injured are receiving necessary medical assistance. The consequences of the attack are being clarified", - the Ministry of Energy noted.

As reported, during the day, two more residents of the Donetsk oblast were killed by russian shelling, and 20 civilian objects were damaged.
