According to him, russia finds China's position on Ukraine "impressive".
"Of course, this is only the beginning of the conversation. A very tense discussion lies ahead. In addition, we are aware of the situation with the Ukrainian side, which currently even legally excludes the possibility of negotiations for itself. Therefore, this process is lengthy, but the constructive position of the Chinese side is impressive to us", - Peskov said.
On May 16, putin is making a visit to China, where he has already held talks with Chinese leader Xi Jinping. It is expected that statements will be made by both sides.
