A resident of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk oblast died over the past day as a result of russian shelling. This was reported by the head of the Donetsk Oblast State Administration, Vadym Filashkin, and the Donetsk oblast police on Telegram on April 9.
"On April 8, the russians killed one resident of the Donetsk oblast in Chasiv Yar. Another 5 people in the region were injured over the course of the day", - wrote Filashkin.
The police note that over the past day, the enemy carried out 1925 attacks. 7 settlements were affected: Kostiantynivka, Lyman, Selydove, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, Kurakhivka, Starodubivka. 36 civilian objects were damaged - 30 residential buildings, a library, a shop, vehicles, gas pipelines, power lines.
Chasiv Yar was shelled from the Grad MLRS with incendiary charges and from artillery guns.
In Selydove, the enemy hit a residential nine-story building at the 5-6th floors.
"5 residents were injured, including a child born in 2008. Three apartment buildings, a library, and a shop were damaged", - the police clarified information about Selydove.
The russians dropped a guided aerial bomb UMPB-D-30 SM on the private sector of Kostiantynivka - damaging 9 houses, a minibus, a car, and cutting off communications.
As a result of the missile strike on Lyman, three private houses were damaged. 4 houses in Starodubivka and 5 in Toretsk were destroyed.
In addition, early this morning, around 3:00 a.m., the russian army struck Druzhkivka. At least 18 infrastructure objects were damaged - 5 apartment buildings, administrative buildings, 9 cars.
