From 6,000 to 8,000 Crimean Tatars have left the occupied peninsula to avoid putin's mobilization. This was reported by Refat Chubarov, the chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, in an interview with Voice of America on April 30th.

"They have turned Crimea into a powerful testing ground, a base. And it is clear that in such a territory, which they use exclusively for their further aggression, they do not need people who, let's say, do not accept the occupation, who are not loyal to these russians. They have identified Crimean Tatars and ethnic Ukrainians as such people. There is a demonization of Ukraine", - Chubarov said.
