Over the past day, two more residents of the Donetsk oblast were killed by russian shelling, and 20 civilian objects were damaged. This was reported by the regional police on Telegram on May 16.
"The enemy carried out 2,206 shellings. Hits were recorded in six settlements: the cities of Lyman and Chasiv Yar, the villages of Velyka Novosilka, Zhovte, Karlivka, and Yekaterinivka. Twenty civilian objects were damaged, including 14 residential houses and cars. As a result of the enemy shelling in Karlivka, two people were killed, and a private house was damaged", - the statement reads.
"Russia dropped two KAB-250 bombs on Velyka Novosilka, damaging an apartment building. Lyman was also under fire, with nine private houses and cars damaged. In the village of Yekaterinivka, three houses were damaged as a result of shelling", - the police reported.
