Russian occupiers launched a missile strike on Odesa on the evening of May 1st, resulting in intense fires in the city and casualties. This was reported by the head of the Odesa Oblast Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, the city mayor Hennadii Trukhanov, and local Telegram channels.
"The enemy attacked Odesa with ballistic missiles. There are at least 13 injured reported. There is a powerful fire at the impact site", - stated Oleh Kiper.

According to the Telegram channel "News.Odesa", the missile strike reportedly affected the Nova Post warehouse.
"Preliminarily, the strike hit the Nova Post warehouse, causing parcels and other flammable materials to ignite", - the message reads.
