Vasily Golubev, the governor of the Rostov oblast, russia, reports a drone attack in the Morozovsk district.
"Air defense units are repelling a massive drone attack. According to preliminary data, in the Morozovsk district... over 40 targets have been destroyed. As a result of the attack, a substation was damaged", - he wrote on Telegram.
Three kilometers from Morozovsk lies the military airfield of the R]russian Aerospace Forces. It houses frontline bombers Su-24, Su-24M, and Su-34.
The drone attack on the military airfield was indirectly reported by the Saratov oblast governor Roman Busargin. "In Engels, a drone was eliminated early this morning. There are no casualties or infrastructure damage from the falling debris", - he wrote on Telegram.
Engels is home to the base of heavy bombers Tu-95 and Tu-22, which target Ukraine with cruise missiles.
