Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described it as a historic achievement that the russian Black Sea Fleet is no longer capable of resisting in the western part of the Black Sea and is "gradually leaving Crimea". He made this statement while addressing the parliamentary summit of the Crimean Platform on October 24 via video link.

"This is a historic achievement. Recently, the russian leadership was forced to announce the creation of a new base for the Black Sea Fleet on the occupied territory of Georgia. But we will reach them everywhere", - Zelensky said.

According to him, "Ukraine has managed to restore the Black Sea as an artery of security upon which global food stability depends".

"At first, with the support of the UN and Turkey, we launched the Black Sea Grain Initiative, and then we added the humanitarian initiative 'Grain from Ukraine' and initiated new temporary export routes from our seaports", - Zelensky stated.

It's worth noting that the spokesperson for the Defense Forces of the South, Natalia Humeniuk, mentioned that the results of the explosions, which are part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' tactics to destroy russia's military potential in occupied Sevastopol, will "please everyone".
