A russian drone fell on a non-residential building in central Kyiv, sparking a fire. The building of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was damaged, Ukrinform reports.
“In the Shevchenkivskyi district, in the center of the capital, a UAV fell on a non-residential building. There is a fire. Emergency services are on their way to the scene”, - Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko reported.
Later, he reported that a woman had been killed and several people injured.
“According to the information currently available, one woman was killed in a non-residential building in the historic center of Kyiv that was hit by an enemy UAV. Three people were injured. Medical personnel hospitalized them”, - the mayor reported.
“Unfortunately, it has become known that a woman was killed as a result of an enemy strike in the Shevchenkivskyi district. We extend our condolences to her family and loved ones”, - the Kyiv City Military Administration reported.
“Four people have now been injured in a non-residential building in central Kyiv. Medical personnel hospitalized three of the injured. One person was killed. The search and rescue operation is ongoing”, - Klychko reported later.
