“Recently, we managed to carry out one of the largest operations of this kind. In cooperation with the 30th Marine Corps, the Hrim Tactical Group, the Borysfen 34th Marine Brigade, the Bolharychi unit of the 11th National Guard of Ukraine Brigade, the 34th National Guard Regiment, and the 79th Border Guard Detachment, we delivered about 4,000 kilograms of food to 100 designated locations across the city. The invaders are trying to disrupt this aid as well. Russian servicemen are shooting down drones carrying food supplies, cynically confiscating or reselling food intended for children and the elderly. For receiving humanitarian aid packages, the occupiers detain Oleshky residents, throw them into basements, brutally beat them, and resort to violence”, - the Kherson Oblast Military Administration Head Oleksandr Prokudin reported on September 27.
He noted that the Ukrainian military began delivering food by drone back in March.
“Deliberately blocking aid and creating famine among the civilian population are war crimes with no statute of limitations. Everyone involved in these actions will inevitably be held accountable”, - Prokudin added.
