The explosions, which are part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' tactics to destroy the military potential of russia in the occupied Sevastopol, will "please everyone", according to Nataliia Humeniuk, the spokesperson for the Defense Forces of the South, during a national Ukrainian TV news marathon broadcast on October 24.
"Crimea is Ukraine, and there are ongoing military operations there, even when the occupiers may think it's relatively calm, and their air defense is working. Our situation is coordinated in such a way that our goal at this stage is to maximize the destruction of the enemy's potential, everything that they can still deploy", - noted Humeniuk.
She mentioned that yesterday the enemy put two frigates, which are missile carriers armed with Kalibr missiles, on combat alert, with 16 missiles ready for use.
"So, they are trying to develop some situation in the Black Sea. The defense forces must react. It's too early to draw conclusions, but I think the results will please everyone", - said the press secretary while commenting on the night explosions in Sevastopol.
As reported, loud explosions were heard in Sevastopol at night, and local "authorities" mentioned the possibility of a "submarine sabotage".
