Social standards will be increased for 14 million Ukrainians as of May 1st, 2016. It was stated by Minister of Social Policy Pavel Rozenko during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, - reports RBK-Ukraine.
"Yes, of course, those people who receive a minimum pension will get it, but retirees part is about 2 million pensioners and their pensions also depend on the minimum living wage," - said Rozenko.
At the same time, according to the Minister of Social Policy, in general, raising of social standards will affect about 14 million Ukrainians taking into account the citizens who receive social benefits.
