Despite the intensified quarantine from January 8 to 24, all the checkpoints of entry-exit (EECP) on the contact line in the Donbas will continue to operate as usual. This is reported by the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.

"We condemn blocking of the checkpoints' work by the Russian Federation both on the administrative borders with the Crimea and in the the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. We understand that people are already held hostage by the occupation regimes. At the same time, in order to get to the controlled territory, people go through all the circles of hell, since the occupation regimes almost do not let people pass, and if they do, they require a bunch of some papers", - Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Oleksii Reznikov noted.

"The situation is very difficult, but we, for our part, must simply do everything in our power to maximize the observance of the rights of people to receive decent medical and social assistance in the controlled territory, the right to be with their families and others. I am sincerely grateful to the members of the government for their support", - Reznikov stressed.

As reported, enhanced quarantine restrictions would be introduced in Ukraine from January 8 to January 24, 2021.
