The strike by a UAV on the building of the occupation “administration” in the settlement of Markivka, occupied since 2022, was reported by the leader of the “LNR” Leonid Pasechnik on social media on April 28; sources of OstroV and local social media confirm this.
“Today at 10:45 a.m. in temporarily occupied Markivka (the Starobilsk district), a strike on an administrative building was recorded. According to sources, the strike occurred precisely during a meeting of the local pseudo-council. It is reported that two floors were destroyed; bodies of the dead are currently being pulled from the rubble. A section of the occupation police was also hit”, - the Telegram channel “Luhanshchyna Operatyvna” reported.
According to Pasechnik, 18 people were injured.
“At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the building of the village council in Melovatka of the Svatove municipal district”, - Pasechnik also reported.
“Due to the high threat of the use of UAVs, we inform you: today, 28.04.2026, all municipal institutions are suspending operations. Reception of citizens, provision of services, and events are canceled until further notice”, - the occupation “administration of the Starobilsk municipal district of the LNR” reported at the same time.
