Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in St. Petersburg on the morning of April 27. This was reported by russian media.
It is reported that later Araghchi will arrive in moscow for a meeting with putin, and will also “discuss with russian officials the progress of negotiations between Tehran and Washington”.
“During his trip to moscow, Mr. Araghchi will hold consultations with russian officials regarding the current state of negotiations, the ceasefire and related developments, and will also present a report on these negotiations”, - Iran’s ambassador to russia Kazem Jalali told the media.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov confirmed that putin “plans to receive Araghchi”.
