Fifth president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, head of the Servant of the People party, deputy head of the faction Oleksandr Kornienko, people's deputy from the Servant of the People fraction Oleksandr Dubinskyi and another 78 people's deputies stopped reimbursing expenses totaling more than $130 thousand due to the absenteeism. This is reported by UNN with reference to the office of information of the Verkhovna Rada.
As reported, the reimbursement of expenses in the amount of $131 600, associated with the fulfillment of deputy powers was stopped to 81 deputies of Ukraine in accordance with the Decree of the Head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine dated December 13, 2019 No. 1279-k "On the termination of reimbursement of expenses to the deputies of Ukraine, related to the fulfillment of deputy powers, for November 2019".
According to the office of information of the Verkhovna Rada, the balance of appropriations on registration accounts at the end of the current year is written off to the state budget of Ukraine.
The list of the fined people's deputies-absentees, consisting of 81 deputies of Ukraine, included Petro Poroshenko, Oleksandr Kornienko and Oleksandr Dubinskyi.
As previously reported, seventeen people's deputies in the Verkhovna Rada of the 9th convocation missed more than 90% of the voting since start of its work.
