The General Prosecutor Viktor Shchokin appointed the member of the antiterrorist operation Maxim Grishchuk to the position of the first deputy head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office. This was reported on the official website of the General Prosecutor’s Office.
The interview panel for the selection of candidates for administrative positions in the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office proposed three candidates to this position.
After consultation with the applicants for this position and study of their personal data files, the Deputy General Prosecutor, the head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office Nazar Kholodnitsky chose Maxim Grischuk, one of the candidates proposed by the Commission, and submitted his nomination for approval by the General Prosecutor on Friday, December 4th.
On the same day, December 4th, Shchokin appointed by his order Grishchuk to the position of the first deputy head of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.
Maxim Grishchuk was one of the defenders of the Donetsk airport who are called "cyborgs" for their heroism.
