The situation with the closure of Donetsk filter station was specially staged by the leaders of the Russian occupation administration before the meeting of the Tripartite Contact Group in Minsk. This is reported by press center of the ATO headquarters on Facebook.
DFS provides water to Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka and Verkhnyotoretske as well as to temporarily occupied Donetsk, Yasynuvata and a number of small towns. In this regard, the ATO headquarters emphasizes that closure of this station can for a long time cause serious humanitarian cost and further destabilization of situation in the region.
The ATO headquarters states that "the situation with Donetsk filter station has been specially staged and provoked by the leaders of the Russian occupation administration on the eve of the meeting of the Tripartite Contact Group in Minsk in order to once again discredit the forces of anti-terrorist operation and have an additional lever of pressure on the Ukrainian party of the negotiation process in Minsk".
"The headquarters of anti-terrorist operation calls on representatives of international security and humanitarian organizations to help with resolving the situation with closure of the filter station as soon as possible and preventing the deterioration of humanitarian situation in the region. Same as before, the ATO headquarters guarantees safety of the station and its employees", - the report said.
As previously reported, on April 17, Voda Donbassa company stated that the bus carrying a shift staff of Donetsk filter station was shelled in the afternoon. Five employees of the company were injured, one of them is in critical condition.
