Press center of the ATO headquarters states that the bus with civilians near Olenivka settlement in the grey zone on the occupied territory was shelled by the "DNR" militants, - the headquarters reports.
"According to information collected, the bus with civilians was attacked by militants from illegal armed formations of CDDO. The local residents crossing the contact line through the checkpoint at the moment claimed one civilian had been killed, another one had been wounded", - the report said.
The ATO headquarters states that information of the occupation media that allegedly the Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled a bus in the area of "Olenivka" checkpoint is not consistent with the reality.
"Such cynical actions by the Russian mercenaries are aimed at discrediting the Ukrainian army pending OSCE Special Monitoring Mission's Principal Deputy Chief Monitor Alexander Hug's visit to the Donetsk and the Luhansk oblasts", - the headquarters summarized.
As previously reported, representatives of the "DNR" militants claimed the death of one person and the injury of another as a result of shelling a bus at the "Olenivka" checkpoint. The occupants traditionally placed responsibility for the death of a man on the AFU, but did not provide any evidence.
