The largest private energy holding DTEK Energo has stopped almost all coal mines in the occupied territories of Donbass because of the transport blockade. This is reported by Economicheskaya Pravda with reference to Reuters.

When asked about the condition of the Komsomolets Donbassa mine, the press service of DTEK Energo stated:

"It's in idle mode, but it's controlled by us. Rovenkyantratsit and Sverdlovskantratsit are also in unoperable mode".

When asked about the reason for the downtime, the press service answered: "Where should we ship the coal to?".

As previously reported, the trade blockade of the occupied Donbass began on January 26. It was initiated by veterans of the ATO and several MPs. The prosecutor's office opened criminal proceedings on the fact of blocking the road in Luhansk oblast. On March 1, the leaders of the “republics” stated that all Ukrainian businesses in the occupied territory came under their "external control", that is, they are no longer under Ukraine's jurisdiction.
