Russian commanders ordered to destroy the personal files of Russian military victims in the Donbass. This was stated by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense.

It is done "in order to conceal the real losses and the participation of Russian citizens in the fighting in the east of Ukraine".

"Russian occupational command has ordered military commissars to destroy personal files of deceased servicemen of 1st army corps (Donetsk) of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation," - Ukrainian intelligence says.

The fact of the destruction of more than 120 of such personal files was established in the military commissariat in Horlivka (Donetsk region).

This operation is conducted in conditions of strict secrecy. The military employees signed a receipt of the non-disclosure of this particular fact and other information about the deceased military.
