The total combat losses of the russian army from February 24, 2022, to August 17, 2026, amount to approximately 1,468,760 military personnel. Over the past day, the Defense Forces of Ukraine eliminated another 1,440 russian military personnel. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Over the past day, russian forces lost two tanks, four armored combat vehicles, 93 artillery systems, three multiple rocket launchers, and two air defense systems.
Also destroyed were 16 ground robotic systems, 2,093 operational-tactical unmanned aerial vehicles, three cruise missiles, 597 units of motor vehicles and fuel trucks, and five units of special equipment.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the russian army, according to the General Staff, has lost 12,272 tanks, 25,155 armored combat vehicles, 48,100 artillery systems, 2,037 multiple rocket launchers, 1,572 air defense systems, 439 aircraft, 354 helicopters, 2,273 ground robotic systems, 465,497 operational-tactical unmanned aerial vehicles, 5,010 cruise missiles, 35 ships and boats, two submarines, 135,448 units of motor vehicles and fuel tanks, and 4,540 units of special equipment.
