“The authorities of the neighboring region have introduced a special regime for entry and exit from the Voronezh oblast to the ‘LNR’. The draft decree appeared on the website of the Voronezh oblast government today, April 16”, - the occupation “government of the LNR” reported on social media.
The occupiers clarified that it is now possible to cross the border between the two “regions” only through the “Bugaevka” checkpoint in the Kantemirovsky district of the Voronezh oblast.
“It will be impossible to enter the ‘LNR’ through other checkpoints of the oblast. These measures were taken to increase security in the region and protect against possible threats”, - the statement emphasizes.
Until now, the checkpoints “Melove – Chertkovo” and “Tanyushevka – Rovenky” had been operating. As sources of OstroV note, at all checkpoints between the occupied Luhansk oblast and neighboring regions of the russian federation, checks are carried out similar to those at state borders, sometimes even stricter.
