The largest channel of illegal supplies of food, fuels and lubricants, medicines and other goods to the occupied territory was blocked by police officers on September 7th. Deputy Chairman of the State Fiscal Service Sergey Bilan reported about that on his Facebook page.

According to him, the "grey zone" operation in the coordination of the ATO headquarters was conducted by tax police jointly with the Center for Special Operations of the SSU. More than 100 people were involved in the operation.

The report notes that "the so-called Ministry of Defence of the DPR was among the main customers of these supplies." It means that the goods went directly to the militants."

Searches were carried out on the transhipment bases, vehicles with the goods were detained. Investigative actions are continuing.

"The special operation was extremely risky. Because sabotage groups are very active in the village, snipers are constantly there and there is a militants’ checkpoint at  the end of the village," – summed up Bilan.
