The number of casualties from the ballistic strike in Odesa on the evening of May 1st has increased to 14. This was reported by the head of the Odesa Oblast Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, and the mayor of the city, Hennadii Trukhanov, on Telegram on May 2nd.

"Civil infrastructure has been destroyed, rescuers are battling a large-scale fire. A total of 14 people have been injured, with 13 receiving medical assistance on-site and one hospitalized. Our teams are inspecting nearby residential buildings for broken windows and doors", - Trukhanov wrote.

Kiper clarified that as a result of the russian missile attack on Odesa, civilian infrastructure has been damaged, particularly postal warehouse facilities. Firefighting efforts are ongoing, and nearby houses have broken windows.

According to the head of the OMA, the hospitalized man is in moderate condition.
