Germany is still not ready to supply Taurus missiles to Ukraine. The official spokesperson for the German government, Steffen Seibert, commented on this in a statement to DW, published on January 3.

"We are not currently supplying Taurus to Ukraine, but we are closely monitoring the situation", - said Seibert.

Thus, as the publication notes, the German government's position on the delivery of long-range Taurus missiles to Ukraine remains unchanged.

Seibert emphasized that the recent air strikes by russia on civilian objects in Ukraine were termed "war crimes". When asked about Berlin's stance on the Ukrainian strikes on russian territory, particularly in Belgorod, Seibert stated that he "never commented on it and will not comment on it now".

It was previously reported that the German Foreign Minister pledged to support Ukraine until victory.

The Polish Foreign Minister also called for providing Ukraine with long-range missiles for strikes on targets in russia.
