Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Russian army has completely destroyed 190 medical infrastructure facilities and damaged an additional 1,449 objects. This information is provided by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

These affected facilities include maternity hospitals, hospitals, clinics, and polyclinics. The greatest losses were suffered by medical institutions in the Kharkiv, Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Kyiv oblasts.

The Ministry of Health also noted that, since the start of the war, the russian army has damaged 103 emergency medical vehicles, completely destroyed 253 such vehicles, and seized 125 ambulance vehicles.

Despite the systematic attacks and bombings, efforts to rebuild the medical infrastructure in Ukraine continue.

The Ministry of Health emphasizes the goal of ensuring that every patient has unimpeded access to the necessary medical care.

As of mid-October, Ukraine has rebuilt 823 medical facilities destroyed by russia, with 410 fully reconstructed and 413 partially reconstructed. The majority of the restored medical facilities are in the Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv oblasts.
