Units of the Defense Forces equipped with drones under the Army of Drones project have destroyed 223 russian equipment units over the past week. This was reported by the Head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, in his Telegram channel on October 23rd.
"Warriors are actively neutralizing advancing tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers. They're taking out the cannons and mortars that the russians are trying to use against Ukrainian positions", - wrote Fedorov.
He also noted that drones continue to play a crucial role in the defense of Avdiivka and Kupiansk.
The Head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation expressed his gratitude to the military for their resilience and effective utilization of technology and announced that a new batch of drones from the government is being prepared for deployment to the front.
It was previously reported that Ukrainian paratroopers destroyed 5 tanks, 4 infantry fighting vehicles, and eliminated 20 enemy infantrymen in a single battle in the Donetsk oblast.
