Two civilians lost their lives as a result of an evening airstrike in the Kherson oblast, and their bodies were recovered from the rubble on October 23rd. This was reported by the Kherson Oblast Prosecutor's Office in their Telegram channel on the same day.

"Under the procedural guidance of the Oleshky District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated in a criminal case related to the violation of laws and customs of war, coupled with intentional homicide (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code). According to the investigation, on October 22nd, at around 21:50, russian military aircraft shelled the village of Ivanivka in the Darivska community of the Kherson district", - the statement reads.

It is noted that as a result of the shelling, a man and a woman were found in a destroyed private house. Their bodies were recovered from the rubble today. Search and rescue operations were complicated by repeated enemy attacks on the settlement.
