Over the course of more than 15 months of full-scale war, russian forces have damaged or completely destroyed 1,554 healthcare facilities in Ukraine, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine reported.

"For over a year, the russian army has been deliberately destroying Ukrainian infrastructure, conducting targeted rocket attacks, and striking peaceful cities and civilians. Since the full-scale invasion of russia into Ukrainian territory, enemy projectiles have already damaged 1,370 facilities, and an additional 184 have been completely razed to the ground", - the ministry stated.

It is reported that the medical infrastructure in the Kharkiv, Kherson, Donetsk, Mykolaiv and Kyiv oblasts has suffered the greatest losses.

Despite the constant shelling, repair work in healthcare facilities continues. As of June, 301 facilities have been fully repaired, and another 332 have been partially restored.

"Despite the daily shelling and challenges faced by the healthcare system in Ukraine, the Ministry of Health, along with its partners, will continue to work on the restoration of the Ukrainian healthcare infrastructure from the consequences of war", - added the ministry.

As previously reported, the russians closed a hospital in the occupied town of Kamianka due to the staff's refusal to obtain russian passports.
