In several front-line regions of Ukraine, managers with military experience will be appointed to the post of chairman of the Oblast Military Administration. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during his evening address to the Ukrainian people on February 6.
"In a number of regions – especially border regions and front-line ones – we are appointing leaders with military experience. Those who can prove themselves most effectively in protecting against the threats that currently exist. I will inform about each such decision. In general, it is worth noting that we will combine the received by our people experience in defending Ukraine – military experience – with specific managerial work in positions in local and central government", - Zelensky said.
As previously reported, the Cabinet of Ministers supported Zelensky’s draft decrees on the dismissal of the heads of five oblasts.
