So, the enemy used the prohibited weapons and 122-caliber artillery systems against our defenders near Vodiane in Pryazovia in the morning. The enemy opened unaimed fire from grenade launchers of various systems near the same settlement several times. In addition, the Russian occupation forces carried out remote mining of the terrain with 8 POM-2 mines using the PKM-1 near the Ukrainian positions in the area of Vodiane. The enemy also repeatedly fired in the area of responsibility of the North tactical force: the enemy used 120 and 82-caliber mortars against Ukrainian soldiers near Luhanske and Pivdenne, and large-caliber machine guns and small arms – near Pivdenne. The occupiers' shots were unaimed, did not threaten the lives of our defenders, so they did not open fire in response. There are no combat losses or wounds among Ukrainian soldiers.
Everyone who has a "military ID card" will be required to register themselves in at the collecting points in the occupied territory of Donetsk oblast from December this year to November 2021. The relevant "decree" was issued by leader of the "DNR" Denis Pushilin. Pushilin's "document" said "about conducting a control notification and the appearance of citizens in reserve at the points of preliminary collection of citizens from December 2020 to November 2021". 181 new cases of coronavirus infection and 168 cases of "usual" pneumonia were diagnosed in the occupied areas of Donetsk oblast over the past day. This was reported by the so-called "DNR Ministry of Health". In addition, 15 more deaths were recorded. In total, 13 703 cases of the disease were confirmed in CADO on December 22: 8018 people recovered, 4444 are undergoing treatment, 1241 people died. The mortality rate is 9.05%, which is several times higher than that in the territory of free Ukraine. The occupiers also reported that 94 more cases of pneumonia were detected over the day (168), which they refuse to associate with the coronavirus. At the same time, 90 patients were hospitalized. In total, 1747 patients with pneumonia are being treated, of which 635 are on oxygen support (+30 over the day).
Doctors registered two more deaths from COVID-19 in the occupied territory of Luhansk oblast over the day, separatist media wrote. Thus, doctors have registered 164 deaths of patients who have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the occupied Luhansk region since the beginning of the pandemic.
