239 337 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of October 7. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"Today we have a record for the number of recovered people - 2569 patients, who recovered over the past day and defeated COVID-19. At the same time, we have an anti-record for the number of cases. 4753 people fell ill over the past day", - the minister stated.
According to him, 77 deaths from COVID-19 were recorded over the past day.
"In total, 239 337 people fell ill in Ukraine during the pandemic, including 15 259 children and 16 864 health workers. 105 970 people recovered and 4 597 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.
59 189 tests on COVID-19 were carried over the past day, of which 32 376 - by PCR and 26 813 - by EIA.
