President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has promised to carry out land reform this year. He stated this today at the Ukrainian-Turkish business forum in Istanbul.
"This year, we will definitely roll out land reform, which will help create a market of 40 million hectares of land next year, which is one of the best in the world in terms of quality", - he reported.
Zelensky recalled that there are already Turkish companies that own land in Ukraine.
"It is the Onur company if I am not mistaken. Any representatives? Hello. Do you have a lot of our land? I hope there will be significantly more such companies, especially in southern Ukraine, which needs the creation and development of irrigation systems. We are also considering opportunities for public-private partnerships there", - the president said.
