"People's Militia of the LNR": "Tankmen, motorized rifles and artillerymen of the People's Militia of the LNR held large-scale exercises on the development of mobile defence elements. In the course of training, the actions of individual servicemen and units as a whole were worked out under the conditions of defence action".
Media: "About 100 students of the military department of Luhansk Volodymyr Dahl National University successfully passed the final exams on the training program for officers of artillery detachments. Only 95 students completed their final exams out of 198 people, who had entered the military department in 2015. The rest failed the requirements for attendance, academic performance and discipline".
"The DNR Ministry of State Security": "The Supreme Court of the DNR sentenced a Ukrainian saboteur from the Lviv oblast, a citizen of the Russian Federation Oleksandr Halahan, who came to the republic for espionage and servicemen abduction, to 18 years' imprisonment. The court found Halahan guilty and sentenced to punishment in correctional colony of strict regime".
"The DNR Ministry of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities": "Specialists of the Ministry began to work out measures to improve checkpoints of the republic. Last week, representatives of the Ministry of Construction together with the Customs Service examined 11 checkpoints for their improvement. It is planned to install sheds for people and equip toilets".
"The LNR Ministry of Communications and Media": "Kyiv closed the possibility of connecting with the numbers of Lugakom republican mobile operator for Ukrainian operators in manual mode".
"The Prosecutor General's Office of the LNR": "Emloyees of the Prosecutor General's Office together with police officers detained four policemen of the patrol service of the MIA of the LNR for taking a bribe at the "Avanhard" checkpoint on the Luhansk – Stanytsia Luhanska road. The policemen received a bribe from a citizen who transported agricultural products to the territory of the LNR".
Media: "Twenty employees of Zasyadko Mine in Donetsk, where external management of the DNR was introduced in March of this year, joined "The Donetsk Republic" social movement. A solemn ceremony was held in the conference hall of the enterprise. The ceremony began with the national anthem of the DNR. Then the first membership card was received by the director of the coal enterprise Andrey Necheporenko. "I hope that all employees will deliver it to their collectives, and our team will be increased", - he said".
"The DNR Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism": "From August 4 to August 5, "САМ-2017" (the most active youth) youth forum will take place in the territory of Zuevsky Landscape Park within the framework of the humanitarian program for the reunification of the Donbass people. The event will bring together about 200 people from 16 to 30 years old from all over the Donbass, including residents of the Donetsk oblast, controlled by Ukraine".
"The MIA of the DNR": "In Donetsk, in the course of making an authorized search at the place of residence, law-enforcement officers confiscated 7 fuse assemblies, 7 grenades of different types and about 600 cartridges of different caliber from a city dweller of 1975 year of born. A criminal case was initiated as provided for in Art. 256 of the Criminal Code of the DNR".
