The visit of U.S. President Donald Trump’s special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Kyiv, which had been planned for the second half of August, “has been postponed slightly, but not canceled”, Radio Liberty correspondent in Washington D.C. Alex Raufoglu reported, citing an informed source.
According to him, the delay is related to the intensification of missile and drone strikes on Kyiv last week.
It is noted that Radio Liberty contacted the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv for comment regarding a possible visit by Donald Trump’s envoys to Ukraine.
It was previously reported that Witkoff and Kushner would visit Kyiv within two weeks as part of efforts to end the war.
