“During the night of August 21, the enemy attacked the Bolhrad and Izmail districts of the Odesa oblast with ‘Shahed’ drones. As a result of the attack, the infrastructure of the international ‘Tabaky’ border crossing point on the border with Moldova was hit”, - the State Border Guard Service reported on August 21.
The buildings and structures of the border crossing point were damaged. Fires that broke out at the site were localized by employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
“At present, the passage of people and vehicles through the ‘Tabaky’ crossing point is not being carried out. The Moldovan side has been informed about the situation. Traffic is being redirected to other crossing points”, - the border guards reported.
