The European Union will provide assistance to Ukraine to restore the affected areas after the Donbass conflict ends. This was stated by Italian Ambassador to Ukraine Davide La Cecilia, according to RBK Ukraina.
"I think that the EU will pay particular attention to the question of recovery (Donbass - OstroV). It is clear that such thoughts have been there for a long time, but this project can be implemented only after the hostilities end", - Davide La Cecilia said.
According to him, Italy will also contribute. He noted that Italy previously spent at least € 100 million for assistance to the closure of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
