"It is very important to organize a meeting before winter arrives. It was a terrible winter for us and, you must understand, we do not want to go through another one. And russia must understand: we had a terrible winter, and theirs will not be easy either. My proposal is dialogue", - President Zelensky stated during an online Reuters conference, according to Hromadske.
He said that Ukraine had proposed using the opportunity of the G7 summit to organize a meeting on the sidelines of the event, but the russians ignored the proposal.
Kyiv also proposed holding a meeting in a third country — Switzerland, Turkey, or countries in the Middle East, and does not rule out the possibility of a meeting in the United States.
At the same time, Zelensky rejected a proposal to come to moscow, noting that "Ukraine does not play these games".
