Putin thanked the official, who formally concluded the process of illegal elections, which were organized with a blatant violation of the country's constitution.
Article 81 of the russian federation's Basic Law states that "the same person cannot hold the position of President of the Russian Federation for more than two consecutive terms". However, Putin has held this position for the fifth time, the third time in a row.
As reported earlier, the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe declared the russian dictator putin illegitimate and called on member states of the Council of Europe, observer states including the United States and other European Union countries to cease all contacts with the russian authorities.
