An enemy Ka-32 helicopter caught fire at the "Ostafyevo" airfield of the russian Ministry of Defense in moscow. This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on April 26th.
"On the night of April 26, 2024, a multi-purpose enemy Ka-32 helicopter was destroyed at the "Ostafyevo" airfield of the russian Ministry of Defense in moscow", - the statement said.
The airfield is operated jointly with the company "Gazpromavia", which is part of the "Gazprom" corporation.
The destroyed aircraft unit was used by the aggressor state for the interests of the moscow Aviation Center, particularly to support operations of the russian occupying army.
Earlier, Ukrainian media, citing sources, reported that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the Main Intelligence Directorate, and Special Operations Forces carried out a massive drone attack in 8 regions of russia on the night of April 20th. The main target of the Ukrainian drones was the energy infrastructure that powers russian military-industrial complexes.
