Poland has promised to provide temporary protection for Ukrainian refugees without passports. The Polish Minister of Internal Affairs, Marcin Kierwiński, announced this on April 25, as reported by Gazeta.

"We will find a way to solve this problem. We need to act wisely and rationally. Everything concerning Ukrainians in Poland is stipulated in the laws. We will continue to provide protection for Ukrainian refugees, which currently only extends until June 30", - Kierwiński said.

As the minister noted, Poland will safeguard the rights of refugees and will not disclose their personal data.

"Those who do not have passports will be eligible for temporary protection. Poland will protect their rights and will not disclose their personal data to anyone, including Ukraine", - Kierwiński added.

Earlier, the Minister of Defense of Lithuania promised to consider how to help Ukraine bring back men of conscription age, using Poland as an example.
