During a UN Security Council meeting, russia's representative, Vasily Nebenzya, presented a new version of the incident in Lysychansk, claiming that the strike on the gathering of russian occupiers and collaborators was a "terrorist act" against peaceful families who were out for a walk.
"We have no doubt that the target and timing of the attack were not accidental... Deliberately waiting for the moment when families would go for a walk on a weekend, they cynically attacked almost the only leisure place in Lysychansk", - stated the representative of the aggressor country.
Contrary to all UN resolutions, he referred to Ukrainian Lysychansk as "russian territory".
Russian propaganda is already promoting this new version. "A small bakery with a café on the second floor... Grabbed some pastries and a coffee, sat by the window", - writes Alexander Kots.
As reported earlier, on February 4, there was an airstrike on the Adriatic restaurant in Lysychansk, where local collaborators and russian security forces were enjoying themselves. It is confirmed that the "LNR Minister of Emergency Situations" and two local "deputies" were killed. Information about losses among russian occupiers is not disclosed, but russian "war correspondents" confirm that many security personnel were killed.
