The "Minister of Emergency Situations of the LNR" Alexey Poteleshchenko was among those eliminated in a restaurant in the occupied city of Lysychansk, the Luhansk oblast. This information was reported by the Telegram channel "Donbas. Vazhno" on February 5, citing local media.
"Among the victims of the explosion in the Adriatic restaurant in Lysychansk was Alexey Poteleshchenko, who held the position of 'Minister of Emergency Situations of the LNR'. Before 2014, he worked in leadership positions in the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, but in 2014, he sided with the 'LNR', starting to work in the 'people's militia of the LNR', and later in the 'Ministry of Emergency Situations of the LNR', becoming the 'Minister of Emergency Situations of the LNR' in September 2023", - the statement said.
It is noted that, according to the Myrotvorets website, Poteleshchenko resided in Lisichansk. The last time someone accessed his VK social media page was four days ago.
Earlier reports indicated that in the occupied Lysychansk, the Adriatic restaurant was targeted, affecting local collaborators, "military prosecutors", and employees of the "commandant's office".
