As a result of russian shelling in the Donetsk oblast over the past day, a school, a mine, and residential buildings were damaged. This was reported by the head of the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, in his Telegram channel on January 5.
"Pokrovsky district. In the Selydove community, Ukrainsk came under artillery fire – a school and two 5-story buildings were damaged. In the Marinka community, one person died in Krasnohorivka, and one was injured in Katerynivka; Yelyzavetivka was shelled. In Avdiivka, a person was injured. In the Ocheretyne community, Soloviove was shelled. The Kurakhove community was subjected to 4 shelling incidents, targeting Ostrovske and the industrial zone of Kurakhove. The russians launched 6 rockets at the Myrnohrad cummunity – damaging a mine and 2 administrative buildings", - the message said.
In the Bakhmut district, the Chasiv Yar community was under fire – without casualties and destruction. In the Soledar district, Rozdolivka and Vasiukivka were shelled. Russians also shelled Siveresk.
Earlier, it was reported that in the Donetsk oblast, due to the massive attack by occupiers, two more people died – in Katerynivka and Krasnohorivka.
