Russian occupiers killed three residents of the Donetsk oblast and wounded as many, destroying 17 houses, a clinic, and a power line, as reported by the regional police on January 2.

It is noted that the enemy used guided aerial bombs, X-69 missiles, Grad MLRS, and artillery to shell 17 settlements in the region.

Over the course of one day, the cities of Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, the settlements of Ostre, Zhelanne, Ocheretyne, Yuzhne, and the villages of Berdychi, Halytsynivka, Dachenske, Klishchiivka, Krymske, Lysivka, Orlivka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and Siverne came under fire.

In particular, the russians dropped five guided aerial bombs on Avdiivka and then shelled the city with artillery. One person died, and a private house and two apartment buildings were destroyed.

In Ocheretyne, enemy shells destroyed two private houses, claiming the life of a woman.

At the same time, occupiers shelled Yuzhne with artillery, hitting a residential sector where a civilian was killed.

In Zhelanne, an artillery strike destroyed a clinic.

Additionally, three civilians were injured in Orlovske, Lysivka, and Krymske.
